عندما انتقدت لادارة شركة الكهرباء للتوزيع والبلديات عن ضعف مستوى وعدم مهنية اعلانات التوظيف لديهم التي يحددون فيها عمر المهندس لاقل من 30 عام ومدير الموقع لاقل من 45 عام ومدير التخطيط لأقل من 40 عام، مما يحد من فرص التوظيف للعديد من الكفاءات، فبرروا على سبيل المراوغة ان ذلك يحدث في جميع الشركات وان الهدف من ذلك تقليص عدد المتقدمين الذين يتم مقابلتهم واعطاء فرص للخريجين حديثا اضف انهم يرون من اعمارهم اقل من 30 عام يتمتعون بحرية الحركه وهذا يهمهم اكثر من علم المهندس او خبرته. لم ارى قط تحديد العمر في أي من شركات العالم لإعلانات التوظيف للمهندسين ، وذلك ينم على ضيق افق وسوء تقدير ادارة شركة الكهرباء للتوزيع والبلديات.

Site Erection Activity:

Electrical Design Engineer
Purpose of the Job
Designing of power transformers in line with customer specifications internal and international standards considering the best optimised approach in terms of cost and quality.
To be responsible for transformer tender design of AWT.
To be responsible for transformer order design of AWT.
To be responsible for technical support for tender or order design from other department such as Commercial Department, MD department etc.
Organizational Reporting
Directly report to Electrical Design Manager of AWT
Network & Links
Internal: Commercial, PM, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Testing, Logistic.
External: Customers, professional institutes, supplier
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
• Analysing the customer specification and anticipating the best optimized electrical design. Technical calculations. Preparing production drawings and BOMS.
• Choosing equipment and defining the quantity. Analysing the cost before ordering.
• Participate to technical customers meetings and provide solutions to the customers.
• To answer the technical questions and requested reports received from the customer.
• Develop and maintain business relations and effective communication with suppliers, in order to benefit from their support & to support suppliers in production of quality components.
• Coordinate his/her design project with other internal functions (other designers, sourcing, quality & production), to remove bottlenecks & provide solutions to the problems with a group approach.
• Participate the project meetings and to support the other project functions.
• Report to his/her immediate manager any difficulties which could affect the release dates of documents and information requested by the Master Schedule, and to assist in the search of corrective actions.
Measurement
• Take charge of calculation and design of transformers at tender and contract levels, according to the customer requests in a cost effective way.
• Prepared the BOM include technical specification of related Project’s silicon steel, copper, bushing, tap changer etc , in order to meet the requirements of delivery time.
• In coordination with MD, SD, Give the technological solutions for new products when there are any question during manufacturing stage.
• Finish the tender design and order design in time with good quality.
Qualifications
University degree- majored at electrical engineering.
At least 4 years experience of electrical engineering design of power transformers or reactors.
Good English level, both in reading and oral.
